Grafitti Lesson Sumary

In this lesson, students explored the history of graffiti as a powerful form of visual communication. They analyzed diverse graffiti styles and discussed how each style expresses artists' identity, voice, and social messages. Students brainstormed various words related to the theme of teamwork, and each selected one to represent. They then designed an original graffiti illustrating the meaning of their chosen word. Following this, students transferred their designs onto individual boards and the mural and, employing paint markers, painted their graffiti on both surfaces, contributing to a collaborative mural.
