Why? I am an Art teacher.

After years of working as a professional artist while simultaneously developing and teaching workshops in painting, sculpture, murals, and found-object art, I began to notice a common thread in all my work: it was always about engaging students and contributing to their growth and success.
I consciously turned away from private mural commissions and instead focused on creating interactive murals with students in schools, libraries, hospitals, and museums. My goal was never to decorate a wall, but to share my skills and knowledge in a way that could make a real and lasting impact on students’ lives.
Over time, I realized how much I loved working with young people of all ages. That realization led me to take a decisive step: I entered the M.A. program in Art Education and earned my Post-Baccalaureate Certification in K–12 Education from Kutztown University.
Coming from a commercial art background, I once underestimated the skill, patience, and dedication required to be an exceptional art teacher. I came to understand that being an artist is not enough—you must also be able to communicate, spark curiosity, and inspire students to explore and take creative risks. Great teaching is a unique talent that continually guides and motivates students to discover their potential.

Some people discover their calling early in life. I found mine later, but with no less passion or purpose. I now know where I belong, who I want to be, and what I am meant to do. I look forward to sharing my knowledge, inspiring creativity, and continuing to learn and grow alongside my students.
